Pup Ruckus Terms of Service.

Pup Ruckus provides dog training and behaviour consulting services to clients throughout Melbourne. By engaging with our services, you ("Client," "you," or "your") agree to the following Terms of Service.

1. Services Provided

Pup Ruckus offers a range of dog training services, including but not limited to:

  • One-on-one training sessions

  • Behaviour modification plans

  • Group training classes

  • Dog behaviour assessments

  • Referral and consultation with veterinarians and other specialists

These services are tailored to meet the individual needs of your dog and to support your training goals.

2. Client Responsibilities

As a client of Pup Ruckus, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your dog and any behavioural concerns.

  • Communicate openly with us about your dog’s health, behaviour, and any factors that may affect training.

  • Be responsible for your dog’s behaviour during training sessions and events.

  • Follow all guidelines and instructions provided by Pup Ruckus to ensure a safe and effective training experience.

  • Notify us in advance of any cancellations or changes to your booked sessions.

3. Booking and Payment

(a) Booking Process: All sessions must be booked in advance through directly with us via email or phone.
(b) Payment Terms: Payments for services are due in advance of your scheduled session, unless otherwise agreed. We accept payments via bank transfer and PayID
(c) Refund and Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled session will be eligible for a full refund.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session will incur a cancellation fee or no refund policy.

  • In the case of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, we may offer rescheduling options at our discretion.

4. Use of Services

(a) Personal Responsibility: You acknowledge that dog training and behaviour modification can be challenging, and it is important to follow the guidance provided to ensure both your safety and your dog’s welfare.
(b) Liability: You understand that while Pup Ruckus takes every precaution to provide safe and effective training, we cannot be held liable for any injury or damage to you, your dog, or others during or after the training sessions.
(c) Health and Safety: You are responsible for informing us of any health conditions or injuries that may affect your dog’s participation in training.
(d) Age Requirements: Clients must be at least 18 years old to engage in services, or a parent/guardian must accompany a minor.

5. Privacy and Confidentiality

Pup Ruckus values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information. By using our services, you consent to the terms outlined in our Privacy Policy.

We may share your personal information with relevant third parties (such as your veterinarian or other professionals working with your dog) only with your consent.

6. Confidentiality and Record-Keeping

(a) Confidentiality: All information shared with us, including your dog’s history, behaviour, and health information, will be kept confidential. We will not disclose any personal information without your consent, except as required by law.
(b) Record Keeping: We may keep records of your dog’s progress, behavioural assessments, and training plans to better tailor our services. These records will be retained for a period of at least seven years or as required by law.

7. Termination of Services

(a) Termination by Client: You may choose to terminate services at any time. We require written notice, and any outstanding payments will be due.
(b) Termination by Pup Ruckus: We reserve the right to discontinue services if we believe that a client is not following the terms, policies, or guidelines of our training program, or if the safety of the dog or trainer is at risk.

8. Intellectual Property

(a) Training Materials: All training materials provided to you, including but not limited to written guides, instructional videos, and training tools, are the property of Pup Ruckus and are for your personal use only.
(b) Photography and Media: We may take photographs or videos during training sessions for promotional or educational purposes. By engaging our services, you consent to the use of these images and videos unless otherwise stated.

9. Disclaimers

(a) No Guarantees: While Pup Ruckus strives to deliver the best possible training outcomes, results may vary based on individual circumstances, dog behaviour, and client involvement.
(b) Medical Advice: Our training services are not a substitute for veterinary care or medical advice. If your dog is experiencing any medical conditions, we recommend consulting with a veterinarian or veterinary behaviourist.

10. Amendments to the Terms

Pup Ruckus reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and your continued use of our services will be deemed acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in accordance with the laws of Victoria
